Problem Solving

  • Ability to assess causes of equipment malfunctions/solutions.

Hand-to-hand Skills

  • Possess hand-to-hand skills
  • Sufficient motor function to execute hand movements required to install and service electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
  • Physical ability to coordinate two or more limbs (two arms, two legs or one arm and one leg) while sitting, standing or lying down.

Graphic Representations

  • Able to read information from graphic representations

 

  • Comprehend blueprints and building diagrams.

Some programs may require a valid driver’s license and/or a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) to operate heavy equipment

Drug Testing

Most employers will conduct pre-employment drug tests
