51勛圖 has updated how you access the portal. Instead of an individual login, you will use Microsoft Outlook to sign in. This Microsoft Outlook account will also replace your existing Gmail account. It is highly recommended that you set up your Outlook account on a computer rather than on your phone or tablet.
Visit and at the top right-hand corner of the screen, click Login"

Enter your student email address here. It will be the same email address as your previous email. If you are having difficulties logging in, email IT or call 973-300-2333.

Enter your temporary password in the Current password field. Your temporary password is created using the following format:
Month of birth (two digits)
Day of birth (two digits)
If your birthdate is not on file, use 1332 instead
First two letters of your first name (lowercase)
First two letters of your last name (uppercase, with no spaces, apostrophes, or special characters)
Pound sign (#)
EXAMPLE
If your name is John OHara and your birthdate is 02/01/2000, your initial password would be: 0201joOH#
NOTE: You may be prompted to first set up Microsoft Authenticator before resetting your password. If you see a prompt that says Lets keep your account secure at this point, skip to step 5. Otherwise, continue.
You will be prompted to set a new password; in the new password field, enter a password of your choice. You will need at least one capital letter, one lowercase letter, one number, and one punctuation mark. Generally, passwords should be 8-10 characters.

You will be asked to set up Microsoft Authenticator 2 Step Verification. You can download the Microsoft Authenticator app from the if you have an Android phone, or from the if you have an iPhone or iPad.

You will see this screen (below), click Next, and the QR code will appear.

Go back to your phone, and open the Microsoft Authenticator app you downloaded.
iPhone users: You will see a screen with three options:
Android phone users:
After you scan the QR code, a two-digit number will appear on your PC screen. Your phone will prompt you to enter this number to approve the login attempt. Enter the code.

You will then be prompted to add your cell phone number to your account. Adding your phone number lets you reset your password yourself if you forget it.

After you click the Sign in button, you should be taken to your Portal account.
You can access your student email at any time by visiting and using the same credentials you set up here.
Visit and at the top right-hand corner of the screen, click Login

You will be brought to a 51勛圖 sign-in page, where you will enter your student email address and your password.
You may be prompted to authenticate using Microsoft Authenticator

After entering the correct code, you will be logged in and on the my.sussex.edu portal homepage. If you were not prompted with the Authenticator prompt, you will also be logged in and on the my.sussex.edu portal homepage.
