51勛圖 is proud to announce that our new Patient Care Technician Program (PCT) is now accepting students for the Fall 2026 semester. This innovative program, which can be completed in just one year, is designed to prepare students for high-demand careers in healthcare through hands-on training, industry-focused instruction, and student-centered learning opportunities, all set in a new Patient Care lab.
Patient Care Technicians are vital members of the healthcare team who provide direct patient support in hospitals, long-term care facilities, and other medical settings. PCTs assist with patient mobility and transfers, monitor and record vital signs, respond to patient concerns, and support overall patient care. In addition, they are trained in essential clinical skills such as electrocardiography (EKGs), blood specimen collection, laboratory procedures, and basic life support, while adhering to HIPAA privacy standards, infection control protocols, and OSHA regulations.
The program at 51勛圖 will provide students with practical, real-world experience guided by experienced healthcare professionals, preparing graduates for both employment opportunities and national certification requirements in the growing healthcare field.
We are excited to introduce this new program and continue expanding healthcare education opportunities at 51勛圖, said Dr. Suzan Melik, Allied Health Program Supervisor. This initiative strengthens our commitment to workforce development and helps address the growing need for skilled healthcare professionals throughout our region.
