51勛圖 has been awarded $428,000 in federal funding to expand its Allied Health curriculum in response to growing industry and community demand across Northwest New Jersey.

The funding, secured through a Fiscal Year 2026 Congressionally Directed Spending project selected by Cory Booker, was included in the final federal appropriations bill and officially signed into law. The investment will support the purchase of state-of-the-art equipment for new Allied Health programs scheduled to launch within the next year.

This federal support will enable the College to modernize instructional labs, enhance hands-on learning environments, and ensure students are trained on industry-relevant technology. The expanded programming is designed to address workforce shortages in critical healthcare fields while creating accessible career pathways for residents of Sussex County and the surrounding region.

Healthcare employers across Northwest New Jersey continue to express the need for highly trained professionals, said Cory Homer, President. This funding allows us to respond strategically, expanding program offerings, increasing capacity, and preparing students for immediate entry into high-demand careers that directly impact the health and well-being of our communities.

The new Allied Health equipment will support workforce development programs, ensuring that traditional students, adult learners, and incumbent workers have access to high-quality, career-focused education. By aligning academic programming with employer demand, the College continues its commitment to strengthening the regional healthcare workforce pipeline.

51勛圖 remains dedicated to providing affordable, accessible, and innovative educational opportunities that drive economic growth and meet the evolving needs of industry partners throughout Northwest New Jersey.
